About us

Three friends. One Dream.

We’re here to break down the barriers of entrepreneurship so more dreams become reality.

Brian Niles

Brian is the glue that holds the company together, having had the initial idea to start Rooster after being frustrated while searching for a house cleaner. A natural businessman, Brian had entrepreneurship in his blood, selling silk flowers he found in his grandparent’s storage locker on the side of the road when he was just 8 years old. He attended Emory University and after graduation, headed to GE’s Financial Management Program where he met Patrick Stinus. The two started their own consulting company, Seventh Element, which empowered small and medium-sized businesses with tools of the Fortune 500. After the company was absorbed by a global consumer products company, he became its VP of Operations, where he helped grow the revenue from $30M to over $100M. But entrepreneurship called again, and Brian is now the co-founder and CEO of Rooster.

Shana Ostrovitz

Shana grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico coasting through school but never finding what truly inspired her. That all changed when she became involved in one of DECA Inc.’s high school programs, where she discovered her passion for marketing. Shana went on to major in marketing at Northeastern University where she first met Patrick Stinus, explaining to the doubtful business major that marketing is everything. She spent her career doing product marketing at GE and Proctor & Gamble as well as for Stanley, CAT and Black & Decker. Quickly Shana realized that her passion for helping others needed to be an essential part of her professional goals. She went on to work for the American Diabetes Association in Southern California, but creatively, something was still missing. When discussing the idea to start a company enabling independent service providers, Shana knew this was her opportunity to marry her two passions. Now the co-founder and VP of Marketing for Rooster, Shana’s is a lifeline to providers and the voice of Rooster’s mission.

Patrick Stinus

Patrick was born with a passion for art, beauty and design. The captivating storytelling of Pixar inspired him to pursue his dream of becoming an animator when he enrolled in Boston’s Northeastern University as an art major. However, uncertain where that degree may lead him, he quickly realized his abilities in mathematics and people were more suited to his minor; business. He switched his major and decided to study “the art” of business. Moving on to GE, Patrick graduated from their Financial Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff, and also found a friend in Brian Niles. Surprising many, he left his GE job and took a risk with Brian to start Seventh Element, the pair’s first joint business endeavor. After being absorbed by a global consumer products company, Patrick served as their Director of Finance before moving on to build Rooster. By co-founding Rooster with Brian and Shana, he has been able to access his business skills while returning to his love of art once again. As the VP of User Experience, Patrick has done all the graphic design for Rooster, creating the look and feel of the company and site you see today.

Michael Church

Provider Ambassador

Michael Church grew up bouncing back and forth from South Florida and New Hampshire. He attended the University of New Hampshire where he studied Business Administration and earned his graduate degree from Southern New Hampshire University. In 2006, he decided to make a career change and move back to Florida permanently. He left the fast paced corporate environment of his business sales and finance positions where he worked at two Fortune 500 companies, Fidelity Investments and ADP and decided to make a complete career change and enter into the health and wellness industry as a Licensed Massage Therapist. He was able to immediately leverage his magnetic personality and business acumen into the opening of several luxury hotel spa concepts including the Viceroy Miami at Icon Brickell and the Viceroy Anguilla Resort and Spa in the Caribbean. His latest project before joining the Rooster Team was the successful turnaround and exit of a failed Elements Massage Boca Raton Franchise location where he was to rebuild and manage for close to 7 years.
